On July 11th I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Lisa & Craig, what a great day it was. 
 

Before The Day...

A few months before the wedding day I meet Lisa and Craig at the venue (The Swettenham Arms) to confirm what they were looking for and to get an idea of the venue/location as well as meet the staff at the venue. 

During this meeting I had a good look around and took some reference photos to plan for group shots as well as consider how I would shoot the day/ceremony knowing it was to be held outside. Of course since I had the camera on me I took a few photos of Craig and Harry whilst Lisa was speaking to the venue owners. 

The Wedding Day...

For the wedding day I was assigned to document the day in a candid/photo-journalistic style with very few posed portraits/shots. I like to work in this way as it's a huge change from the normal portrait work I will do in studio or on location. 

I had some time before guests started to arrive and used it to grab some detail shots and introduce myself to the staff at the venue. 

As the guest started to arrive I photographed them as they met with family, friends and the groom before the brides arrival. 

With every one in place it was time for the beautiful bride Lisa to arrive in style by way of Rolls Royce.  She was walked to ceremony area outside by her farther.

With the brides arrival, family and friends present it was time for the ceremony to go ahead. I could not of asked for better light on the day. Some family members gave beautiful speeches before we all got to see Lisa & Craig become husband and wife, during which some laughs and great moments ensued. What a great couple.  

After the ceremony the celebrations started. Group and family shots were covered before we all headed inside for the meal and the evening celebrations.

A great day was had celebrating a great moment for Lisa and Craig. Thank you for letting me be part of your wedding day and I wish you all the best for your futures together.
