Back in September this year local photographer and friend of mine Adam called round for a catchup and also to bring his back up 5D Mark II for me to buy.
This was camera number 3 being added to the kit. I like to buy used kit from people or companies that I can trust.
We talked shop for a few hours and I paid some cash for the new (old) camera.
Later in the year I worked with Adam on a wedding after ahis usual 2nd shooter was undisposed. This old community and industry we call photography is great like that, we help each other out.
Anyway, on to the images… ( I have some outtakes but am holding those as leverage).

Head Shots of Amy Jones...
Earlier this year I had the pleasure of photographing headshots with Amy. I will also be working with her again early in Dec and am looking forward to it.
I have talked about head shots and how important they are on this blog before and it is I feel even more important in 2018 and going forwards. After all we live in a visual world.
Amy was a pleasure to work with and conversation flowed through the shoot.
On to the head shots..
Portraits of Emma..
I want to take this blog back to basics in 2019 and get to sharing more work, so why not start early. These blog posts for the most part won’t be word heavy because let’s face it… it’s about the images.
The images in this post are form a shoot with my friend and model extraordinaire Emma and my friend, Second Shooter, Assistant and all-round top bloke but not a model Stuart.
As a working photographer it’s important to give yourself some time to create new work that is not under a set brief. It’s frees my mind and allows me to try things and experiment. I will experiment on client jobs but only once I feel that the brief has been met.
Enough talk…
Pollitt & Holland - Family Portraits
I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Pollitt & Holland family at my Stockport studio. What a ton of fun it was.
It was amazing to meet everyone with Sofia, Poppy & Joseph being the stars of the show. I get told often to never work with children and animals although I have no idea why… all my clients and their little ones have been nothing but perfect. I really enjoy getting to know and working with local families.
We spent the whole session in the studio with the cold weather recently, but I cannot wait to get out on to location as the better weather rolls in.
