FAQ

  1. Do you provide hair and make up?

A hair and make up artist can be provided at additional cost. This will be quoted and agreed pre shoot day as the price will depend on who is avalible to be booked and what they charge.

If you have any particular needs for hair and make up please let me know so we can plan for and discuss it. Also please note that hair and make up will use up some shooting time.

2. Do you provide outfits and clothing?

No. I may provide props in the future but it would be hard to provide any real range of choice of outfits given people are different in size and shape. Besides it would be better to look and feel your best in clothes that are right for you.

My studio does have an iron, ironing board, hand held steamer and clothes rack. That being said please do make sure you bring your clothes clean and ready to shoot in and not eat in to to much shooting time.

3. Can I bring my partner, friend, parent to the shoot?

Yes no problem. I get that it can be daunting during first shoots so I have no problem with you bringing a friend, partner or parent along. Please note that I will not however accept you bringing a group of people along to the shoot.

If you are under at I will require a legal guardian or parent to be present.

At the end of the day I want everyone to feel safe and enjoy the shoot/experience.

4. This is all new to me and I feel a little nervous.

I get it and I got you.

It is totally normal to be nervous. With over a decade of portrait and in studio experience I can coach you through out and answer any questions you have.

When shooting the images will appear on the studio monitor so we can both see the progress and also anything that needs to be changed or adjusted. Like every shoot it’s a collaboration after all.

5. Do you re-touch images?

Images are delivered re-touched with the only acceptation being polaroid’s as casting directors and agencies want to see you how you look not when retouched.

The retouch work is done by my Re-Toucher Nathan so additional charges may apply depending on the number of images selected or retouching level requested during Model Portfolio Shoots.

Rick is a lovely photographer to work with! He is very good with communication before hand and even asked me what snacks I like - then followed through with bringing them to the shoot which is very kind. As a model I felt super at ease, and very comfortable in his studio. The set up is very well organised and he is fully equipped. He made sure my comfort was key and ensured the room was a good temperature. There is a lovely well lit dressing room, and even a ring light with a phone stand which he let me use to create a BTS video. I would as always, recommend Rick as he is a great photographer and very easy going which is fab! I look forward to working with Rick in the future 😊

This was another brillant shoot with Rick! We organised everything in a short amount of time and Rick got everything ready in a short notice.

He picked me up from the train station and when we arrived to the studio, the first set was already set up and he welcomed me with some « yum yum » for breakfast haha.

Rick’s lighting technique is absolutely on point and I love how each times, even after shooting on so many occasions, it’s always something very different.

Rick is super creative while being very open to my ideas, and definitely knows how to make the models feel comfortable. I can absolutely see him being great with models who are just starting out.

Thank you for this wonderful shoot!

Hey Guy's,

Long over due return to this fine chap's portfolio page to leave my second reference for RJ Bradbury.

Had a blast upon my return to this gents studio. We shots fitness portraits and had the use of many pixapro lighting setups.

Also I catered for the day by bringing some equipment and clothing courtesy of my gym.

Had a super fun shoot.

I recommend Rick to all in the industry.

Have a blast mate.

See you again soon I hope.

Kind regards

Nicky

Yay! I finally managed to arrange another shoot with Rick in his incredible studio. We had such a fantastic shoot before, and I was really looking forward to working with him again.

It was a pleasure to see him again. Rick is such a kind, easygoing, and wonderful person. He always meets me at the studio and helps with my bag. He even prepares snacks and considers dietary requirements, which is so thoughtful. He also makes sure the studio is at a comfortable temperature—he truly does everything to make the shoot as enjoyable as possible.

This time, he sent me a mood board with his creative ideas, and I was very excited to try them. He designed such beautiful, artistic lighting setups and an incredible set. His concepts are always so creative, unique, and cinematic.

The shoot was effortless and fun. He showed me the images on his computer monitor, and they looked absolutely stunning. I can’t wait to share them on social media—they are so artistic and stylish.

Thank you so much, Rick! It was a pleasure to work with you again. You’re such a talented photographer and a wonderful person. I’m so happy we got to collaborate again, and I look forward to our future projects.
