A while back in 2012 I think, I started to make image edit videos that take you through how an image was made and edited in Lightroom. Recently I stated to produce those again sp I figured why not post them on the blog.
Now an FYI, the first few were made using an old PC that was somewhat under powered when it came to screen capture and running Lightroom so the audio has a few hicups. (Later ones are on a new editing rig). Also later videos are a little shorter.. I promise :)
This first image was taken back in July 2012 using one speedlite with a grid camera left. This was the first time shooting with the 5D2 (borrowed) and it sealed the deal making me go buy one used.
Now before we get to the video I want to let you know that this Image edit video series and my This Image series on the blog are going to make nice and have a blog post baby going forward. I have wanted to bring more to the this Image posts for a while so will include the first edit of the image and (if I remember) some BTS stills of the set up and maybe in future posts on location video... that's a big maybe at the moment though, for now I want to pad the posts out some more and dig a little deeper in to the image taking/setup and edit process.
The video for the First Image Edit Video is below.
Thanks
Rick
